Job Role:

As an HR Recruiter at SSI, your primary responsibility will be to source, screen, and hire new staff for our company. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process, from identifying hiring needs to onboarding new hires. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Sourcing:
    • Identify hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
    • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
    • Build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  2. Candidate Screening and Assessment:
    • Review resumes and applications to identify potential candidates.
    • Conduct phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the role.
    • Coordinate assessment activities, such as skills tests and interviews with hiring managers.
  3. Onboarding and Orientation:
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters and coordinating orientation sessions.
    • Ensure a smooth transition for new employees and provide support as needed during their onboarding period.
  4. Employee Engagement Activities:
    • Plan and organize employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building events and recognition programs.
    • Gather feedback from employees to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance employee satisfaction.
  5. HR Administration and Recordkeeping:
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and company policies.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience: Prior recruitment experience preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • Recruitment Skills: Ability to source, screen, and assess candidates effectively.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organization: Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in reviewing resumes and conducting interviews.
