Job Role:
As an HR Recruiter at SSI, your primary responsibility will be to source, screen, and hire new staff for our company. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process, from identifying hiring needs to onboarding new hires. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Sourcing:
- Identify hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Candidate Screening and Assessment:
- Review resumes and applications to identify potential candidates.
- Conduct phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the role.
- Coordinate assessment activities, such as skills tests and interviews with hiring managers.
- Onboarding and Orientation:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters and coordinating orientation sessions.
- Ensure a smooth transition for new employees and provide support as needed during their onboarding period.
- Employee Engagement Activities:
- Plan and organize employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building events and recognition programs.
- Gather feedback from employees to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance employee satisfaction.
- HR Administration and Recordkeeping:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and company policies.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience: Prior recruitment experience preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
- Recruitment Skills: Ability to source, screen, and assess candidates effectively.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization: Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in reviewing resumes and conducting interviews.
